It is ideal for family and friends holidays and relaxed reunions, but more importantly now perfect for holidays where some of the guests may wish to commute to London on the occasional day or all week dependent on market activities. Hourly direct train services from Angmering to Central London with London only an hour and half by car.
You will find there are limited houses of this quality and type for rent on the South Coast, these are usually only available in Devon or Cornwall. The property is situated on the private sea estate of Angmering-on-Sea which lies between Littlehampton and Worthing on the West Sussex coast, 15 miles from Brighton and Goodwood.
The owner also has another property (The Hamptons Beach House) of the same size that is within 2 minutes walk of the beach, on the same sea estate and the same distance from the New England Beach House. This property is also available for rental so if you had extended family, friends or staff that you wish to house separately this could also be an option. Therefore locally you could accommodate a group of up to 20.

Like the Owner’s other seaside property (Hamptons - Beach House), the house favours the classical beach style with clapboard appearance, drift wood floors, seaside colours and it also has a clubby Ralph Lauren feel to it, that suits women, men and children alike. The furniture, furnishings and artefacts are interior designed to a very high standard so this is like no normal type of ‘holiday let’ property: it has all the comforts of home but in a seaside location.
Within a 5 minute walk is the pretty village of Angmering-on-Sea and East Preston with a village shop, seaside kiosk, Indian and Chinese restaurants, surfers’ continental café, fish & chip shop, specialist wine merchant, hairdresser, beauty clinic, dentist, 3 pubs and other associated shops. Within 5 minutes drive there are further shops and Sainsbury’s nearby.
About the surroundings:
Angmering-on-Sea is situated almost in the centre south of the county of West Sussex and is therefore ideal as a base for visiting the many attractions nearby. The Angmering-on Sea estate was originally proposed as a ‘sporting garden village’ in 1913 and The New England Beach House property was a very “happening” Country Club. During the inter war period - the ‘Riviera’ interlude - it was a small but very smart seaside resort, with lidos, tennis & country clubs with croquet & bowls, often visited by the Queen who came to watch international standard tournaments.
Now it is a private secure residential family orientated estate, quiet in winter and busy with water sports in the summer weekends. Angmering-on-Sea is a secluded stretch of the Sussex coast that caters for all your needs – whether a weekend getaway, family gathering, bucket & spade holiday, or romantic getaway.
