After operating for over 30 years as THE premium Tuscan self catering Holiday destination, the Villa was closed in 2006 for improvements to the 300 year old villa, swimming pool and other facilites enjoyed by so many over the previous 3 decades. To enhance your enjoyment and experience of the Villa 3 new modern Duplex apartments have been constructed on the site of the older Arcadian Hof to the right of the original Villa. These offer modern, spacious open plan living incorporating traditional Tuscan architecture and materials. The original Villa itself has been extensively renovated and upgraded whilst fully respecting all the original details of this Traditional Tuscan villa, so loved by the countless guests who have enjoyed this wonderful facility in the past. These include exposed Oak beams and rafters, tiled Terracotta floors and ceilings as well as the much loved and unique Tuscan feature of using natural lime based plaster internally whilst leaving sections of attractive stonework exposed.

Not only have the buildings been upgraded but new Terraces and walkways for outdoor relaxation and dining have been laid down using traditional Porfido granite stone. A new entrance and access area has been added, along with improvements to make access to the original apartments in the main Villa easier. The already generous swimmingpool has had a kiddies pool added for smaller children to enjoy as well as retiling the entire area around the pool in non-slip Terracota to give a large area for people to relax on.
