Concierge Service can help you find unique excursions, arrange your ski passes - we provide Complimentary Whole Range Ski Passes for three out of every five days - or organise your evening's entertainment, and of course we have wonderful home-cooked meals prepared by our Chef: from a hearty and health breakfast, to welcoming après ski cheese and wine to a three or four course dinner.  Dinner is inclusive three nights out of five.

Bentwood is arranged around the magnificent three story Great Hall and its open fire - and baby Grand piano - ideal for traditional Apres Ski nights.  Off the Great Hall are the study and capacious dining room that can be the focus of many evenings if you choose to dine in after a hard days skiing or boarding.  Bentwood is surrounded by a wide deck ideal for taking in the magnificent mountainscape; whatever time of day.  Bentwood has WiFi broadband access throughout.

BEDROOMS
We have five en-suite bedroom suites all featuring real fireplaces, private en-suite bathrooms - four with Jacuzzi bathtubs - their own deck or balcony and flat-screen cable televisions; plus a further two bedrooms within ancillary accommodation.  

Bentwood is centrally located for everything you will want for your Jackson Hole skiing holiday and is only six miles from the world famous Jackson Hole Ski Area at Teton Village and the south entrance to Grand Teton National Park.  It is also only six miles from Jackson Town and twelve miles from the Jackson Hole Airport.  It is a spectacularly scenic sixty-five mile drive through the National Elk Refuge and Grand Teton National Park to the south entrance to Yellowstone National Park.  Few places in Jackson Hole still offer the unique character and qualities found at the Bentwood and is so unique as to be the only “Select Registry” in Wyoming.  

Bentwood is situated in a beautiful wooded setting, across from a tree-lined path leading to the Snake River, just a few casts away.  The majestic Teton Mountains backdrop the inn providing a picture perfect image of  Jackson Hole. Bentwood is constructed with massive 200 year old logs brought in from Yellowstone National Park and provides a grand and luxurious yet relaxing and cozy base for your skiing adventures.

Cowboy Room:
This king room on the main floor offers a private entrance, fireplace, cozy window seat and reading chair. The Cowboy Room is handicapped accessible and the king size bed can be converted to twins.

Cabin Room:
Snow shoes, a fishing creel, and painted writing desk sporting a local cutthroat trout adorn this large retreat into nature. Two upholstered chairs sit fireside, so you can warm up your toes and prepare to unwind in your private bath with jetted tub/shower. The Cabin king size bed can be converted to twins upon request.

Bunkhouse Room:
A beautiful Scandinavian Inglenook bed is tucked between the inn’s massive log walls with views out across the mountain peaks. A quaint living room decorated with English antiques provides a cozy place to sit by the fire with an octagon window notched into the logs above; and access to the third story loft by a lodge pole ladder provides extra sleeping space ideal for families with twin beds and a skylight perfect for star gazing. The bathroom has room for all with a large tiled shower and separate jetted tub. A balcony shaded by willows and cottonwoods provides the perfect venue for that summer read.

Indian Paintbrush Room:
Sunsets wash the private balcony and fill the room of this second floor king size bedroom providing a filtered view of the Tetons to the west. Hand painted Native American ceremonial pipes adorn the doorways, and the writing desk is cleverly draped in a blanket and moccasins. An upholstered chair and reading lamp in front of the fireplace create a cozy corner to curl up with a good book. The ceramic tiled bathroom with jetted tub/shower has a lovely lookout into the cottonwood grove and garden below.

Wildflower Room:
This first floor king size bedroom has a country garden charm with the bed sitting high and opposite the fireplace and comfortable reading chair; the Wildflower room features a private deck and garden access is tranquility found. The cozy window seat set into the bay window offers you an inviting view of the willows and possibly a moose feeding on their favorite Wyoming trees. The bathroom completes the theme with English wallpaper and tailored tiles with a jetted tub/shower.

We also have ancillary accommodation available that comprises two bedrooms around a self-contained kitchen and dining sitting room.

A WINTER SPORTS WONDERLAND
Jackson Hole might well be famous for its traditional skiing and snowboarding but if variety is the spice of your life, Jackson Hole hasthe full range of great winter sports.

Contact us for more information on any particular winter sport but in the meantime here is a brief description of the key winter sports - aside from skiing and snowboarding - that Jackson Hole has to offer.

Snowmobiling:
Join a guided tour or rent your own and head out into the trails and powder of this winter wonderland. For the powder hound, Togwotee Pass offers hundreds of miles of trails through picturesque mountains, forests and abundant open bowls. Gros Ventre River area provides a great wildlife viewing trip. Granite Creek has a gorgeous hot spring pool fed by the towering Gros Venture peaks. The Grey's River provides abundant snow and miles of trail much like Togwotee Pass.

Dog Sledding
Enjoy your own private Iditarod, and get a taste of what it's like to be a dogsled driver; with one-hour, half-day, full-day and even overnight trips available.

Snowshoeing
Snowshoeing is a fun way to view wildlife. Unlimited areas to snowshoe in Grand Teton National Park. A favourite trip of ours is to Snowshoe or Cross country ski into Huckleberry Hot Springs in the Southern part of Yellowstone National Park. The Bentwood has some snowshoes available for guests and they can also be rented in town at Skinny's.

Sleigh Rides
Jackson Hole is home to one of the largest single herds of elk in the world, as many as 10,000, and sleigh rides will take you right in the middle of the National Elk Refuge to view them up close. Mountain sleigh rides, take you along alpine trails leading to a gourmet dinner or to a more rustic setting for a "chuckwagon meal" complete with cowboy poetry and music.

Paragliding
Jackson Hole Paragliding offers Tandem flights from the top of the Tram and Gondola every day, weather permitting, as well as beginner to advanced instruction and clinics. Flying over the ski area is exhilarating, and provides a unique vantage point of the mountain and if you are dressed to ski you are ready to fly.

Snow Kite Boarding
The latest craze to hit the Hole, combining Paragliding and skiing or boarding. Snow kiting can be done on either skis or a snowboard and no prior experience is necessary.
